Through our MBA for Executives - Healthcare Leadership Track, you will build a general management foundation complemented by opportunities to further explore the healthcare space, enabling you to apply your understanding of business to the changing healthcare industry.
Through the Office of Executive Education, we offer a Certificate in Leadership for Health Care Transformation that gives students the tools to understand the rapidly changing health care environment. Students will begin the process of learning how to lead their organizations successfully through this change.
The Merage School’s MD/MBA program is one of the longest-standing dual degree programs for medical students in the country. Students from UCI’s School of Medicine have the opportunity to earn a combined MD/MBA over the course of five years, where they integrate into the business school between their third and fourth years of medical school. Graduates of this program consistently match at top residency programs nationwide and are prepared for leadership roles both in residency and in their future careers.
The MSBTM program offers courses from three highly reputed schools at UCI: the Ayala School of Biological Sciences, The Paul Merage School of Business, and the Samueli School of Engineering. MSBTM students learn about business from the biotechnology perspective and biotechnology from the business perspective in order to think about their work through the lens of innovation, a critical component in the development of their leadership careers.
Graduate students from across the Merage School connect through the MHA to share insights and learn more about health care opportunities in Southern California and beyond. The association serves as a bridge between students and the Orange County health care industry by partnering with organizations and alumni for events, such as site visits, and other networking opportunities.
