Dr. Rajeev Garg is a seasoned global healthcare executive with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. He has played a pivotal role in driving groundbreaking innovations from concept to commercialization and building novel medical device categories at the intersection of medical and consumer markets, elevating industry standards. Throughout his career, Dr. Garg has managed up to billion-dollar portfolios for leading multi-national healthcare organizations such as Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, Bausch & Lomb, Cooper Vision and Enovis. Breadth of his experience spans from strategic planning, marketing, and business development to R&D in Pharmaceutical and Medical devices for therapeutics areas ranging from Ophthalmology, Infection prevention to Orthopedics.

Currently Dr. Garg is Vice President of Global Marketing, US Marketing and Medical Education at Enovis, a leading medical technology company. Prior to that Dr. Garg was Cooper Vision’s Global Head of Myopia Management Strategy, responsible for strategic vision for the company’s myopia management portfolio of companies including corporate strategy, innovation, licensing & acquisitions. Prior to this, Dr. Garg’s expertise spans the entire medical device marketing continuum, with experience as Head of US Surgical Marketing at Bausch & Lomb and Head of Global Marketing at Johnson & Johnson. He successfully launched numerous implant products and transformed the marketing landscape for the $1 billion Tecnis brand, solidifying global market share leadership and winning various marketing awards. His journey began in the pharmaceutical industry, leading teams across multiple therapeutic areas (Oncology, Antiviral) and culminating in the submission of three New Drug Applications. With a Ph.D. from Princeton, an MBA from Kellogg, and a bachelor’s degree from IIT Delhi, Dr. Garg’s educational background complements his global leadership experience in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has various peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international meetings to his credit. Dr. Garg’s achievements have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Burke Award (highest marketing award at J&J), Standard of Leadership at J&J, and the President’s Award at Abbott. Beyond his professional endeavors, he served on the Board of the Global Myopia Awareness Coalition, actively driving public awareness of childhood myopia as a disease.
