Shanna Cox, M.D., F.A.A.P., is a Faculty member at The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. She is also a Volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. Cox is keenly interested in the synergistic value for the healthcare system obtained with interdisciplinary collaboration across departments and professional schools.

Dr. Cox has extensive experience across inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings, as well as academic, private practice, and hospital medicine. She has also served as a subject matter expert to emerging health care start up ventures, with particular emphasis on design, feasibility, market assessment and patient behavior. Dr. Cox completed her undergraduate work at Harvard University with an AB in Behavioral Neuroscience, her medical degree at the University of Virginia, and her residency in Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine, where she graduated as the Senior Resident of the Year.
