Tom Wagner is a seasoned strategy and marketing executive. He recently retired from Yum Brands after a successful 24 year career. Mr. Wagner was Vice President of Consumer Insights & Brand Planning for Taco Bell where he was responsible for all elements of consumer, brand and menu insights. Over his career, Tom worked with over 5000 new product concepts and helped launch 200+ products nationally. Additionally, he oversaw all areas of industry, sales and competitive analyses. Mr. Wagner has extensive experience in strategic planning and played a critical role in Taco Bell’s (an $8.0 billion dollar quick service restaurant) success over the past 20 years. Tom recently formed his new business The Wagner Group LLC, which provides executive-level consulting in the areas of Insight Marketing, Brand Strategy and Pipeline Innovation. Tom has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from UC Davis and holds an MBA in Finance from UC Irvine’s Merage School of Business.
