Mr. Richey earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and his MBA with honors from The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine. 

He has worked most of his career as a financier and adviser to middle market companies while employed with two of the largest global financial institutions. He also held a position with a large, branded food processor where he worked to return it to profitability prior to the sale to a leading private equity firm. Mr. Richey completed his investment banking training in Paris, France and has conducted business in Southeast Asia, South America, and Western Europe.

For the past several years, Mr. Richey has been working on Wealth Management initiatives as a portfolio manager for two of the largest brokerage firms in the U.S. He has designed, managed, and traded strategies that focus on global equities, commodities, fixed income, and derivative securities.

Mr. Richey has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation after passing three examinations totaling 18 hours over a minimum of 3 years. Core elements of the CFA curriculum include economics, corporate finance, quantitative analysis, asset valuation (debt, equity, derivatives), portfolio management, and ethics and professional standards.

His areas of expertise include wealth management, global asset allocation and portfolio management strategies, corporate finance and business valuation, M&A, leveraged buyouts, private equity, and corporate restructurings.
