Christopher Barry is an experienced business executive and trusted advisor with a 20+ year track record driving growth and operational excellence with small/mid-sized & Fortune 100 companies. He has particular expertise in digital strategy, as well as deep financial expertise, and a proven ability to identify and create value from investment opportunities.
As SVP Transformation at salesforce.com, Chris architected the company’s operations scaling blueprint and led priority cross-functional initiatives to support growth.
Prior to salesforce, Chris was a Senior Partner in Bain’s Consumer Products and Media/Technology Practices. He led numerous successful business transformations. Chris founded and led Bain’s global Digital and Social Media Practice, advising a wide range of business-to-consumer companies on digital strategy and capability building.
As a Research Associate at Fidelity Management & Research Company, Chris made buy/sell recommendations driving the investment of Fidelity’s high income and fixed income funds.
Chris received his MBA from The Wharton School in 2001. He earned his MSc from the London School of Economics in 1995, as a Fulbright scholar. He earned his BA in Economics and International Relations, from Tufts University, summa cum laude, in 1994. Chris currently resides in Los Angeles, where he enjoys the vibrant entrepreneurial, creative, and tech start-up culture.
