Marc Fawaz is a veteran executive with more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurial management, global consulting, corporate and business unit strategy, developing market entry strategies, managing organizational structure, cost reduction, lean operations, process improvement and leadership. He is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the fashion industry.

Marc earned his Executive MBA from UCI where he was awarded the “Most Innovative Thinker” for his class of 2005 and then went on to earn a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on healthcare management & leadership. In addition to being a Professor of Business, Marc is a business consultant. His areas of expertise include global marketing and strategy; management; operations; leadership; negotiation; and organizational behavior and change. Marc is also a Career and a Life Coach.

Serving the local community is a top priority for Marc. His relentless devotion to apply his passions and ideas to impact as many lives as he can is demonstrated in the numerous projects he constantly involves students with. For over a decade now, Marc continues serving as a mentor and coach for the UCI New Venture Competition at The Beal Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and as an academic advisor for the Enactus Organization previously known as Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE). Marc is also active in community outreach programs that address social challenges such as poverty and homelessness.

Marc’s current research interest is heavily focused on strategies that endorse social entrepreneurship. He recently received his Ph.D. from Pepperdine University. His Ph.D. research theme explored Strategic & Corporate Social Entrepreneurship through a comparative study of Best Practices in Global Corporate Social Responsibilities.
