Dr. Rama Malladi has taught 26 finance and investment classes at the undergraduate, graduate, and MBA levels at ten universities in the Southern California region. Dr. Malladi received a Ph.D. in Finance from EDHEC Business School, a Grandes École in France, with Dr. Frank Fabozzi as his dissertation adviser, an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras in India. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with first-class distinction.

Dr. Malladi has held various leadership positions throughout his career, including serving as the President and Board of Governor of CFA Society Los Angeles, a Board member of the CSUDH Foundation, and Chair of the CSUDH University Budget Committee. He has earned designations such as Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst, Financial Risk Manager, and Project Management Professional.

Dr. Malladi is a subject matter expert in financial analytics, having worked in both hands-on and managerial roles. He has provided consultancy services to over 20 Fortune 500 firms and startups. Throughout his career spanning over three decades, he has successfully led groups specializing in financial analytics, risk management, and alternative investments in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

His research areas include artificial intelligence, machine learning, asset management, financial technology, alternative investments, and risk management. Dr. Malladi has multiple publications in peer-reviewed academic journals, such as Applied Economics, Journal of Wealth Management, Review of Financial Economics, and Journal of Asset Management.
