Sasha Strauss

Executive Education Lecturer

Corporations, charities, universities, the press, and religious institutions call on Sasha Strauss to share his perspective on communicating innovation. Sasha speaks from two decades of developing brands for innovators, increasing value for corporations, philanthropies, and universities while he worked for the top advertising, PR, marketing and branding firms.

Sasha is a University of California, Irvine alum and spent many of his undergraduate days playing Peter the Anteater, UCI's official campus mascot. In the midst of full time international consulting work, Sasha finished graduate school at USC in Communications, and UCLA in Business, and chose to stay on campus – teaching graduate brand strategy and marketing courses as a professor at both universities to this day.

Daily presentations to students and executives helped Sasha hone his speech craft, advancing him into the top ranks of global speakers. He speaks at companies like Nestlé and LEGO, and conferences like TEDx and Google Think, delivering award-winning presentations worldwide, from Canada to Chile, Greece to Japan. He does all this while taking calls from NPR, Forbes, and The Wall Street Journal as they seek his timely guidance on branding anything from corporations to nations.

In 2006, Sasha started his own firm, Innovation Protocol, based in Los Angeles. As Managing Director of a team of 25, Sasha’s team advises organizations such as PayPal, Disney, LEGO, Nestlé, Medtronic, and ADP on how to tell their story to customers, investors and employees alike.
