Lisa Shulman first joined the Paul Merage School of Business in 2021 as the Associate Director of Recruitment & Admissions for the MSBA program and currently serves as the Manager of MBA and Specialty Masters Programs Strategic Initiatives. She manages all aspects of building graduate school pipelines, community initiatives, and supports current affinity groups with the focus of supporting our increasingly globally diverse graduate student population. She also works in creating partnerships with the Merage School and UCI community to ensure we have spaces for our diverse graduate student population.
Prior to joining the Merage School, Lisa served as the Associate Director of of Admissions at the Student Arts College International (SACI) based out of New York and as the Acting Director and Senior Admissions Recruitment Officer with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem through the Rothberg International School. In these roles, she planned, directed, and managed recruitment efforts while assisting to develop marketing and advertising campaigns. Lisa is also excited to return to the UC system after previously working as an International Programs Assistant through the UC Office of Education Abroad Programs (EAP).
Lisa graduated with a Master of Arts in International Education Development from Columbia University's Teachers College and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology.
