Rachel Schrader is a double anteater alumna, having graduated UCI with a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Educational Studies, as well as a Master’s of Teaching in Elementary and Secondary Education. In addition, Rachel holds a specialization in Instructional Design for Higher Education, also from UCI! During her undergraduate time, Rachel studied abroad at the University of Barcelona and developed a passion for traveling abroad.

Before joining Merage, Rachel worked as the Operations Manager for Special Events & Protocol in UCI’s University Advancement & Alumni Relations Office. In her previous role, Rachel managed financial processing and event support for large-scale, campus wide events, and oversaw logistics and operations of event venues. She created processes aimed at increasing use of technology to elevate guest experience and improve internal data management and overall team collaboration.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys board games, baking, paddle boarding, weekly trips to the library, outdoor movie nights and family BBQs. She recently got an electric bike and enjoys riding around town with her husband, Eric, and son, Tyler.
