Irvine, CA - (July 02, 2018) - UCI Paul Merage School of Business Executive MBA program was ranked 20th among EMBA programs in the U.S., and 30th among EMBA programs worldwide by The Economist in a report released today. This was the first year the Merage School EMBA program was eligible for The Economist ranking, following a Full-Time MBA program ranking last year placing the school 39th in the nation, 16th among public schools, and 56th in the world.The Merage School EMBA program scored well in categories including 5th in percentage increase on pre-EMBA salary upon graduation, 13th in gender balance, 20th for program quality and 23rd for quality of faculty.
“This is a validation of the great work that the Merage School faculty and staff have done over the last five years strengthening our program through a focus on leadership for a digitally driven world, exceptional student recruitment and enhancing the overall student experience,” said Tony Hansford, senior assistant dean for Fully Employed, Executive and Health Care Executive MBA programs at the Merage School.
“Our rise in this and other rankings can be attributed primarily to the tremendous work our Merage School faculty, staff and alumni have put forth. Our students are flourishing as a result of their efforts, which in turn reflects positively on the EMBA program and our entire Merage School community,” said Eric Spangenberg, dean of the Merage School.
